STATE LEVEL COLLABORATIONS
South Dakota Board of Regents Governor’s Research Center
Alongside participation in CEPS, our site at South Dakota Mines also participates in the Governor’s Research Center (GRC) for Electrochemical Energy Storage alongside South Dakota State University, overseen by the South Dakota Board of Regents. The GRC provides funding to South Dakota based universities for projects aimed to improve the infrastructure of the state. The funding through this program has helped South Dakota Mines further itself towards the goal of being a leading site in the development of novel energy storage technologies.
